Description

The marina currently has 137 wet slips total (40'-150'), inclusive of 114 dedicated slips and 23 transient side-tie slips available for monthly rental.  Under the previously issued permit (Permit 42-04) March 19, 2004, the State of North Carolina Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) and Coastal Resources Commission (CRC), formerly known as the North Carolina Department of Environment and Natural Resources (NCDENR), authorized the potential for a total of 198 wet slips.

The marina operates from a 1,624 sq. ft. manufactured office style clubhouse building.  There is also a 4,000 sq. ft. shop/warehouse with a 3-ton crane and a freestanding leased commercial building.

$1,000,000 - MINIMUM BID AUCTION - This property will be sold subject to a Minimum Bid of $1,000,000 and the Terms of Sale. This is a sealed bid auction event. Bidders may bid for the marina (tract A) or, any combination of tracts or the entirety.  Bidders are encouraged to ask questions in advance. The purchase of a Bidder's Information Packet and wire-transferred funds to the Title Company listed in the Purchase and Sale Contract advance of bidding. Inspection Dates

Inspection dates for the marina and all of the land tracts begin at the marina office at 10:30 a.m.on September 22 October 6, 20 & 27.  

On these dates representatives of the auction company will provide tours of the properties and be available to answer questions.  Please call (312) 278-0600 extension 101 to schedule your inspection.  

Registration and an acceptable form of government-issued photo identification is required by all persons attending any and all property viewings.

Auction Location

Sealed Bid Auction- This is a sealed bid auction event. Bidders are encouraged to ask questions in advance. The purchase of a Bidder's Information Packet is required to bid. Bidders are required to submit a wire-transferred auction deposit to the Title Company listed in the Purchase and Sale Contract and fill in and sign the auction Purchase and Sale Agreement in order to bid.
